Return Policy

To return an item, please email owner@sophieclaires.net to request a Return Authorization (RA) number within 5 working days of receiving your order.

Upon receipt of your email, a Return Authorization Number will be issued for Store Credit only for authorized Returnable Items meeting all requirements.

Return Authorization Number:

If you receive a Returnable Item and would like to receive Store Credit, send an email to owner@SophieClaires.net and be sure to include the name on the order and indicate which item(s) you wish to return. Someone will verify that your return meets requirements and will send an email with a Return Authorization number.  The assigned RA # must be written on the original receipt you received with the item and must be included in your return package.

Once your return is received and verified to be a returnable item (see below for details on Returnable Items), you will receive an email containing a Gift Certificate which can be redeemed for future purchases on our on-line shop at www.sophieclaires.com or in our brick and mortar shop. This is your Store Credit. Treat this code as cash. If it is lost, Sophie Claire's will be unable to issue a new code.

Store Credit:

Store Credit will arrive via email in the form of a Gift Certificate which can be used for future purchase(s) at SophieClaires.com or in our brick and mortar shop.

Returnable Items:

Full priced items which are un-used, un-worn, un-modified, non-damaged, and with original tags attached are eligible to be returned for Store Credit only. Returns must be approved and received within 30 days of the original purchase date. 

ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE. Any items purchased on sale, or at a discount, are not eligible for Return, Store Credit or Exchange.

ALL HOLIDAY ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE. Holiday items are not eligible for Return, Store Credit, or Exchange.

ITEMS THAT SHOW SIGNS OF wear, alteration, washing, tag removal, or have any other sign of damage are not eligible for Return, Store Credit, or Exchange. Be sure to inspect your shipment for signs of damage by the carrier and contact us immediately (within 5 days of receipt).

Please note:

  • Customer assumes all responsibility for return shipping costs including damages.
  • Return shipments received more than 30 days after the original purchase date will not be accepted.
  • Return shipments without an Return Authorization # will not be accepted.
  • Return shipments with missing, damaged, or otherwise un-returnable items will not be eligible for Store Credit, Refund, or Exchange and the customer assumes responsibility for any subsequent shipping charges if customer chooses to have item resent back to them if it is determined that item(s) is not eligible for return upon our terms.


We ship USPS Domestic and to Canada only.

 We confirm order and ship generally within 48 hours of received order.
